Isolators - Gate Drivers
Isolation Principle: Isolator gate drivers use an optoelectronic component, typically an LED (Light-Emitting Diode) and a photodetector (such as a phototransistor or photodiode), to transmit signals across an isolation barrier. The input side of the isolator is connected to the control circuitry, while the output side is connected to the power devices. The optoelectronic component converts the input electrical signal into light, which is then detected and converted back into an electrical signal on the output side.
