TSPDs
TSPDs stands for Thyristor Surge Protection Devices. These are specialized surge protection components used to safeguard electrical and electronic equipment from voltage spikes and surges caused by lightning strikes, power surges, or other electrical disturbances. Thyristor Surge Protection Devices use thyristors (also known as silicon-controlled rectifiers or SCRs) to rapidly divert excess voltage away from sensitive equipment, protecting it from damage.
