Description
The BMX055 is a 9-axis integrated sensor that detects movement, rotation, and magnetic heading. It includes a triaxial, low-g acceleration sensor, a triaxial angular rate sensor, and a triaxial geomagnetic sensor.
In mobile phones, handhelds, computer peripherals, man-machine interfaces, virtual reality features, and game controllers, the BMX055 detects orientation, tilt, motion, acceleration, rotation, shock, vibration, and heading.
The outputs of the micro-electromechanical and geomagnetic sensing structures (MEMS) created, produced, and tested in BOSCH facilities are converted by advanced evaluation circuitry (ASIC).
By giving contextual status of the accelerometer, gyroscope, and geomagnetic sensor, the programmable on-chip interrupt engine enables motion-based applications without the requirement of a microcontroller. The inertial sensor data can be buffered using the embedded FIFO storage.
