Sharp Microelectronics outputs the GA1A2S100SS, an ambient light sensor for indoor-outdoor use that can be used to sense ambient light conditions. the GA1A2S100SS has a peak wavelength of up to 555 nm and supports an operating supply voltage of 3 V in a compact, 4 mm x 3 mm enclosure. The device remains stable over the specified operating temperature.
